Do I need any previous Olympic lifting experience?

Not at all. This program is designed specifically for beginners. We start with the fundamentals using a PVC pipe or broomstick and gradually build towards lifting with a barbell.

What if I’ve never used a barbell before?

That’s completely fine. The program is built to teach you everything step by step, so you’ll learn the correct positions, movements, and techniques from day one.

How is the program delivered?

The program is delivered through in person, small group coaching in Digbeth, Birmingham. This allows you to receive hands on coaching, real time feedback, and technical corrections as you learn each stage of the lifts. Each session builds progressively across the 8 weeks, gradually introducing the barbell as your confidence and technique improve.

Because the groups are small, the coaching is still tailored to you as an individual, so you get the guidance you need while benefiting from the energy and support of training alongside others on the same journey.

How many sessions per week are included?

You’ll train 3 coached sessions per week, giving you enough practice to improve your technique while still allowing time to recover and build confidence with the lifts. You have the option to add bolt on training plans specific to your individual weakness, from mobility to strength to all round conditioning

What happens if I miss a session?

Life happens. If you miss a session, you have the option to still complete the workouts in your own time. Even if you can't, we’ll help you catch up on the key drills and movements, so you can stay on track.

Will the program help with mobility?

Yes. Mobility is built into the program. You’ll work on shoulder, hip, and ankle mobility so you can move into strong squat and overhead positions for the lifts. You will also have the option to add more mobility flows to your training via the bolt on feature.

Will I get individual coaching in a group setting?

Absolutely. The sessions are run in small groups which means you still receive individual feedback and coaching tailored to you, while benefiting from the motivation of training alongside others.

What if I have limited mobility or past injuries?

That’s exactly why mobility is built into the program. You’ll work on unlocking your shoulders, hips, and ankles so nothing holds you back.

What will I achieve after 8 weeks?

You’ll move from broomstick to confidently lifting with a barbell, with flawless technique, better mobility, and a solid foundation for future progress.
